"We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that what is deep inside us is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in oursevles we can risk curiosity, wonder spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit." -- E.E. Cummings

The nursery is almost ready. The walls are all done. We just got the hamper, which is so cute! We turned part of the old bed into a window bench, and a great place to read some books. As you can see we also got the stroller and the cat wants to take a ride so bad it is killing her. And lets not forget the mobile, what's a nursery without one?

Alicia's Midwife Visit Update!!
My awesome Midwife Rebecca! I had fantastic pee, no protein no sugar and a great blood pressure. Rebecca brought her portable ultrasound so we could be certain this time that baby is head down, we also discovered him sitting Indian style (So cute)! Baby Boy's heart beat was between 140 and 150, what a consistent boy! I'm measuring 34 weeks, OH BOY! (Oh Dear!)

Your pregnancy: 32 weeks
J& JY!How is your baby growing?
By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.

That is so hard to believe that we are so close to the most amazing thing that has ever and will ever happen in our lives....it sounds like a short amount of time...but when you are waiting to meet someone you already love so much it seems like an eternity . We can't wait to meet you little one and we are lovingly getting things ready for your arrival. See you soon!
